Chris Cornell is a loss for indie rock too
As singer/guitarist of Soundgarden Chris Cornell was famous for his contribution to grunge music.
However his approach of guitar had something similar with indie rock guitarists.
Indeed from time to time he used to roam far away from the main roads of rock music.
And in their early years, Soundgarden was actually signed on Sub Pop, one of the most famous label of indie rock music.
So he can undoubtedly be considered as an indie guitarist too.
A lot was said and written about Chris Cornell after he passed away.

Whether or not these materials are the “best” of Chris Cornell, they’re all bittersweet reminders that we’ll likely never see anything like him again.
RIP Chris.
